PUSAG PRESIDENT MEETS MANAGEMENT OF BANGOR UNIVERSITY TO DISCUSS OPPORTUNITIES

The Private Universities Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG)President, Mr Alswel Annan, has met with management of Bangor University to discuss scholarship opportunities for the Private university student in Ghana. This meeting took place at the Bangor University campus in Wales on the sidelines of the 2020 London international model United Nations (LIMUN) Conference which the PUSAG president attended. An elated Mr Alswel Annan in an interview with this news portal said he had met the management of Bangor University in London to lobby for scholarship slots for PUSAG. He said, ‘I visited Bangor University to establish a relationship between Pusag and the University and I must admit it was very fruitful. Our discussions bothered on scholarship opportunities for PUSAG at Bangor University as well as other opportunities that will benefit the Private University Student in Ghana.’ He added that ‘ the management of Bangor University has agreed to come to Ghana to facilitate the process for PUSAG.’ This he believed will help the Private University student who wants to further his/ her education but has no funding. Mr Annan continued to add that, ‘The available schorlarships are Chancellors schorlarship, Vice chancellors schorlarship, International students schorlarship, Commonwealth schorlarship and Government schorlarship’.
